Naked Bandit 127 Featherweight

I travel to Santa Fe pretty often. It's close and a favorite weekend getaway. One of my favorite "pit stops" happens to be in a natural amphitheater below a most spectacular cliff band. Every shade of clay, terra coat, taupe, limestone. I know there are names for each strata, but I think it looks like a yummy layer cake. 

Anyway, the little pull out/bathrooms were closed during "that time" and I found myself in a predicament. Bare bottomed to the cliffs, the idea of the Naked Bandit was formed.

It's a beautiful creamy soft perfect piece to wear with all your summer naturals and keep it light. I suppose in a pinch, it could also be used as a pee screen!

a word about fringe edging on our feather weights wools
Fringe edging is made by cutting the edge of the fabric and pulling out about 1 cm of cross threads to create the fringe effect. Occasionally threads will separate from the raw edge making it feel like the scarf is unraveling! It's not. This is a normal occurrence with the featherweight wools as the weave is very open and some of those pieces on the end will want to come out as well. Pull any loose threads off and away from the cross threads. We also suggest washing in cold water and lay flat or hang to dry. This helps secure those end threads by softening and almost plumping the fibers a bit. If this concerns you, we suggest finding a scarf you love that's not part of the featherweight wool collection.

• Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

• We design all of our scarves in-house and do not source designs or illustrations

• We only work with partners that meet all of our environmental and humanitarian requirements

• All of our fabrics are of premium quality! We set a high standard for how we produce each and every design.

• Natural fabrics can all be washed by hand with a gentle detergent. Rinse well in cold water than lay flat on a clean towel to dry.

• Sometimes silks will appear dull after washing. This is due to trace amounts of soap residue. If this happens, add 1tsp of white vinegar to a cold water bath and rinse the silk scarf in this mic. Then rinse well in cold water. That should remove all soap residue.

• Or alternatively, dry clean. We get it, path of least resistance!
