There are a handful of memories from my childhood in Louisiana I hold near and dear to my heart. My grandmother and her sisters were fun loving, dancing and singing wonders. My aunt would pull the cars out of her garage, dust the floor with cornmeal and we would have a regular family dance party! She would pull out her old 45 record player, stack the vinyl high and one by one they would drop and play while we cavorted like wild things. Oh shit! Gene is an ode of sorts to the cowboy singers they loved so well.
It's a denim trompe l'oeil printed on beautiful pure silk twill with a chili red rolled edge. Wear it in the spirit of those wonderful cowboy stars that kept us so entertained and still do today!

• We design all of our scarves in-house and do not source designs or illustrations

• All of our fabrics are of premium quality! We set a high standard for how we produce each and every design.
• Natural fabrics can all be washed by hand with a gentle detergent. Rinse well in cold water than lay flat on a clean towel to dry.
• Sometimes silks will appear dull after washing. This is due to trace amounts of soap residue. If this happens, add 1tsp of white vinegar to a cold water bath and rinse the silk scarf in this mic. Then rinse well in cold water. That should remove all soap residue.
• Or alternatively, dry clean. We get it, path of least resistance!
