Some days I will be in my garden, busy working away when I notice I am suddenly in the company of a number of butterflies passing through. One minute they're here, skipping about, and the next they're gone. I don't know why I'm so amused by this event. I love their erratic fluttering about, they make me think this is what people really saw when they described fairies!

Our feather weight Lucille is cloaked in a hundred delicate winged butterflies, whispering news of renewal, hope and endurance. Think of her as your super hero cape of promise! 

Sunset is banded in colors of our southwestern sky in the evening with shades of orange and pink, to sky blue and soft pale green. It's a beautiful kaleidoscope!

a word about fringe edging on our feather weights wools
Fringe edging is made by cutting the edge of the fabric and pulling out about 1 cm of cross threads to create the fringe effect. Occasionally threads will separate from the raw edge making it feel like the scarf is unraveling! It's not. This is a normal occurrence with the featherweight wools as the weave is very open and some of those pieces on the end will want to come out as well. Pull any loose threads off and away from the cross threads. We also suggest washing in cold water and lay flat or hang to dry. This helps secure those end threads by softening and almost plumping the fibers a bit. If this concerns you, we suggest finding a scarf you love that's not part of the featherweight wool collection.

• If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label with a charge of $8 or you can use your own shipping service, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

• Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

• We design all of our scarves in-house and do not source designs or illustrations

• We only work with partners that meet all of our environmental and humanitarian requirements

• All of our fabrics are of premium quality! We set a high standard for how we produce each and every design.

• Natural fabrics can all be washed by hand with a gentle detergent. Rinse well in cold water than lay flat on a clean towel to dry.

• Sometimes silks will appear dull after washing. This is due to trace amounts of soap residue. If this happens, add 1tsp of white vinegar to a cold water bath and rinse the silk scarf in this mic. Then rinse well in cold water. That should remove all soap residue.

• Or alternatively, dry clean. We get it, path of least resistance!
